Patsy Glad
Tattoo Artist
Roles:
- Artist,
- Expedition Team
Patsy "Pejji" Glad is an aspiring traditional tattoo artist from Laura, Marshall Islands.
Patsy usually works with acrylic paint or sculpting clay for personal projects if she's not tattooing. Her work is usually based on creepy or gory traditional folklore and that she will continue to work on during the expedition.
"I am excited to offer my own artistic lens to those I meet on the trip, but I'm also thrilled to see the different skills and techniques from the other artists on the trip. This expedition will shed light on a tragic history through an artistic lens and I'm excited to see what comes of it. Hopefully we get to hear some native scary stories along the way that I could make into some art!"
Patsy Glad will be part of the Jo- Jikum expedition in The Marshall Islands. Read more about the Jo-Jikum project here.
